Poetic Evening at Shailja Art Gallery: STILL I RISE – A Celebration of Women’s Voices and Art in Gurgaon

In the luminous corridors of Shailja Art Gallery, Gurgaon, words will take flight and art will breathe with renewed spirit. 

On 21st March 2026, the gallery will open its doors to a Poetic Evening under the resounding banner STILL I RISE, a tribute to resilience, creativity and the indomitable voices of women. As twilight gathers, the stage will be graced by poets Amrita Bera, Anupam Singh, Sandhya Navodita, Trina Chakraborty and Yashasvi Pathak, weaving verses that echo strength, tenderness and the timeless rhythm of womanhood.

This evening of poetry is not a solitary celebration—it flows seamlessly into the ongoing Group Art Exhibition, where the works of 30 women artists from across India adorn the gallery walls. Running from 15th March to 31st March 2026, the exhibition is a vibrant tapestry of perspectives, each canvas a testament to creativity that rises above boundaries. Together, poetry and art form a dialogue—ink and brush, rhythm and color—resonating with the spirit of the show – Still I Rise.

The venue, Suncity Business Tower on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon  becomes more than a space; it transforms into a sanctuary of voices and visions. Here, scattered sheets of verse meet splashes of paint, and becomes a symbol of timeless storytelling. Visitors are invited not just to witness, but to immerse themselves in a collective celebration of empowerment, artistry and community.
