Paper Pulp Workshop in South Delhi: Turn Waste Paper into Art with Giribala Tripathy

A SUNDAY-MORNING RECYCLED ART WORKSHOP ON 25 OCTOBER 2026 WHERE DISCARDED PAPER FINDS A BEAUTIFUL NEW LIFE

What if the paper you throw away could become a sculpture? This Sunday, 25 October 2026, South Delhi hosts a Recycled Organic Paper Pulp Workshop led by artist Giribala Tripathy, a gentle, hands-on hour that proves creativity and sustainability can go together.

Titled “Add Creative Consciousness to Waste Paper,” the workshop invites participants to rethink what we call waste.

What You Will Learn

Participants will learn to transform waste paper into paper pulp in the traditional way, then shape it into art. The workshop has a simple purpose: to bring awareness to the environment while nurturing creativity.

The works pictured on the poster show how far humble pulp can go. A textured, expressive cat sculpture and a playful, eight-armed octopus with sparkling eyes, set against a vivid green pattern, both began as scrap paper. The photographs of children gathered around a table, hands busy with materials, also suggest a relaxed and welcoming session that families can enjoy together.

Meet the Artist

Giribala Tripathy is an artist from Orissa, now based in Pondicherry, and a member of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. She brings over two decades of creative and sustainable art practice to the workshop. Her approach turns an everyday habit, discarding paper, into an act of imagination.

Recycled Art • A Greener Tomorrow. If you are looking for a mindful Sunday morning, a creative activity for children, or a small step toward sustainable living, this workshop is a lovely way to begin the day.
