In the vibrant tapestry of Indian classical dance, Dr. Divya Choubey stands as a radiant thread—interweaving tradition, innovation and devotion. With over fifteen years of teaching experience and a lineage of training under legendary gurus such as Mrs. Tripti Dasgupta, Taal Mani Pandit Karodi Lal Bhatt, Mrs. Vidya Hari Deshpande, and Shri Tribhuvan Maharaj ji, she embodies the depth and discipline of Kathak in its purest form.
Armed with academic excellence—a B.A. in Kathak from Pracheen Kala Kendra, a Master’s degree from Raja Mansingh Tomar University, and a Ph.D. in Kathak dance—Dr. Choubey bridges the scholarly and the soulful, making her a rare gem in the world of classical arts.
Her journey has graced stages across India, captivated audiences through Doordarshan productions, and earned her accolades including the Sai Shree Award, Nritya Shri Award, Kalit Bala Award, and the Bharat Bharti Award. Her artistry has been honored by spiritual luminaries like Swami Nityanand Saraswati and esteemed organizations such as Rotary International and the Art of Living Foundation.
