Nandan Mela 2025: A Soulful Art Showcase by Santiniketan Kala Bhavan Praktoni
As winter whispers through Santiniketan, the spirit of creativity awakens once again at Nandan Mela 2025. This year, Santiniketan Kala Bhavan Praktoni presents a vibrant celebration of art and memory through their Pagla Hawa Stall, held on 1st and 2nd December at Kala Bhavan.
The event honors the 143rd birth anniversary of Shilpa Acharya Nandalal Bose, the founder Principal, Kala Bhavana and the visionary who shaped the course of Indian art. In tribute, SKBP artists unveil a stunning collection of artworks—each piece echoing the legacy of tradition, freedom and imagination. From bold brushstrokes to delicate textures, the stall offers a kaleidoscope of styles for art lovers, collectors and curious souls.

More than just an exhibition, Pagla Hawa is a heartfelt invitation to experience the essence of Santiniketan’s artistic spirit. Whether you’re drawn to mythic themes or modern expressions, every artwork carries the warmth of handmade beauty and the depth of cultural storytelling.
