In the serene cultural landscape of Ballapadavu, Kasargod, Kerala, the Veenavadini Sangeetha Vidyapeetam & Vaidic-Thanthric Vidyapeetam presents Naada Maadhuri, a distinguished series of Carnatic Classical Music workshops.

Hosted at Narayaneeyam, Ballapadavu, this initiative celebrates the timeless beauty of South Indian classical traditions, offering immersive learning experiences for aspiring musicians and connoisseurs alike.
The workshops unfold in two vibrant phases — Mrudangam (18–19 April 2026) and Vocal (25–26 April 2026) — each designed to nurture skill, discipline, and devotion to the art.
Naada Maadhuri — Mrudangam Workshop 2026
As part of the Naada Maadhuri Carnatic Classical Music Workshop Series 2026, a special Mrudangam workshop will be held on 18–19 April 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at Narayaneeyam, Ballapadavu, Kasargod. This immersive programme is guided by the renowned percussionist Sri Kallekulangara Unnikrishnan, whose artistry and scholarship have inspired generations of rhythm enthusiasts.
With the theme “Rhythmic Mastery at Your Fingertips”, the workshop offers participants a rare opportunity to explore the fundamentals, progressions and advanced laya concepts of mrudangam. Designed for learners at different stages, it bridges tradition with contemporary pedagogy, nurturing both technical precision and the spiritual essence of rhythm.
Naada Maadhuri — Carnatic Vocal Workshop 2026
Continuing its radiant journey of musical learning, Naada Maadhuri presents a Carnatic Vocal Workshop on 25–26 April 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at Narayaneeyam, Ballapadavu, Kasargod. This soulful programme is guided by the acclaimed vocalist Sri Madurai TNS Krishna (Chennai), whose artistry carries forward the illustrious legacy of Padmabhushan Madurai Sri T N Seshagopalan.
With the theme “A Journey into the Soul of Carnatic Vocal Tradition”, the workshop unfolds through curated thematic sessions, featuring selected kruthis of diverse Vaggeyakaras. Participants will be introduced to unique and lesser-heard compositions, alongside dedicated explorations of masterpieces composed by Sri T N Seshagopalan. Each session is designed to deepen understanding, refine technique, and awaken the spiritual resonance of Carnatic music.
