Gallery 1000A organizes an exhibition – “MOLECULES” which will be on view from 11 June 2022 till 23 July 2022 (Monday to Saturday).
The show will be on preview on 11 June 2022 and features the artworks of eminent artists Amit KR Das, Sanjay Sawant, Simran KS Lamba, Sanjay Sharma, and Sweety Joshi along with a live performance by Pratibha Sarkar.
The Exhibition explores the Indian philosophy of – जो पिंडी वो ब्रह्मांडी. It signifies “All that is outside of you, is within you,” or “Your body is a miniature universe.” Pinda means “microcosm” and Brahmanda means “macrocosm“.
“All the artists have depicted contemplative scenes based on the principle that ‘Nature is all-pervading energy’ and ‘from molecule to cosmos.’ Their artwork is the epitome of an excellent blending of modernity and elegance. Their works on display here capture a perfect balance of visual form of one’s inner as well as social thought process. We realize that this alliance turns into ‘Parbrahm’. This is the hallmark and philosophy of any authentic and great artwork,” says Sweety Joshi, eminent artist and the curator of the Show who has conducted innumerable solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad including Contemporary Indian Paintings at Traveled Centre, Edinburgh, Germany, Vietnam, Sweden, Gran Canary island, Biennale at Spain and Geumgang Nature Art Biennale, South Korea.
