MODULAR ORIGAMI – a Workshop by ABHIPSA BHATNAGAR at TASMAI, A CENTRE FOR ART & CULTURE, PONDICHERRY
Wednesday/ 8 June 2022 / 4.00 PM – 5.30 PM/
ABHIPSA BHATNAGAR, a visual artist conducts a workshop on Origami – an art of paper folding often associated with Japanese culture.
The word ‘Oru’ is to fold and ‘Kami’ means paper.
Modern practitioners are using Origami not just as a craft for teaching but using this in packaging in the commercial industries.
Let’s do Geometrical shapes in Origami with multiple papers too, without gluing it.
With multiple papers, beautiful decorations with 3D shapes and more wonderful models can be made.
