MAKE YOUR OWN TERRACOTTA JEWELRY – an art workshop will be held at TASMAI, a Centre for Art & Culture, Pondicherry.

Venkatesan. K, the recipient of the prestigious National Merit Award in Terracotta conducts a Workshop again on the traditional terracotta Sculpture and Art.

Terracotta is one of the oldest surviving materials from ancient times and it’s one of the most eco-friendly mediums one can think of.

 Venkatesan belongs to the traditional Terracotta artist’s family from Vilianur, Pondicherry. He has been conducting Master Craftsmen Training Programs in Terracotta for the last thirty years and is an expert in traditional as well as contemporary Terracotta Art.

He will teach the students all about the terracotta sculpture and can make your own Terracotta Jewelry.
