LIVE SOLO TABLA PERFORMANCE / DR. ANTARIN CHAKRABARTY

On 11 December 2022 at 8.00 PM onwards Rhythmic Kashi will conduct a Live Solo Tabla Performance by Dr. Antarin Chakrabarty.

Dr. Antarin Chakrabarty is a practicing City Planner and former Professor. He works as State Team Lead, Odisha & Associate Fellow, Centre for Policy Research, Bhubaneswar. He started learning Tabla from the eminent Pandit Ashoka Moitra of Benaras Gharana.

He received his PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and lived many years in Norway and in Ethiopia for his work and research. There he had the chance to interact and perform with European and African musicians. After returning to India he resumed his study and practice with his Guru.

Dr. Antarin Chakrabarty has always been an enthusiastic student of Tabla.
