Linocut Workshop in Pondicherry with Artist V. Santhi Siri – A Creative Journey into Printmaking

Tasmai, Centre for Art & Culture, invites art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the timeless craft of linocut through a hands-on workshop led by the versatile artist and academic V. Santhi Siri. 

Scheduled for 7th and 8th February 2026, near Auroville ECR, this two-day program offers participants the rare opportunity to explore the expressive possibilities of printmaking under the guidance of a seasoned practitioner.

Santhi Siri, Associate Professor at Pondicherry University, brings her rich expertise in contemporary printmaking and visual arts to the workshop. Participants will learn the intricacies of carving, inking and printing, while engaging with the tactile beauty of linocut as both technique and art form. The workshop is designed for beginners and art lovers alike, encouraging exploration, experimentation and the joy of creating unique prints.

Beyond technical skill, the workshop promises an intimate encounter with the rhythm of printmaking—where each carved line and inked surface becomes a reflection of memory, imagination, and artistic voice.
