India’s Cosmic Leap: Prime Minister Connects with Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla

In a historic celestial exchange, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, India’s pioneering astronaut aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Reflecting the emotion of a billion hearts, the Prime Minister hailed Shukla’s journey as a sacred parikrama of Mother Earth—a tribute to India’s age-old spiritual traditions reimagined in orbit. 

Shubhanshu Shukla, the second Indian ever in space and the first aboard the ISS, shared how his childhood dream was once unimaginable, now made real by a new India filled with limitless possibilities. 

Launched aboard Axiom-4 from Kennedy Space Center, his voyage bridges past and present—honoring the legacy of Rakesh Sharma while inspiring generations to come.
