HINDUSTANI CLASSICAL MUSIC PROGRAMME AT RAMAKRISHNA MISSION INSTITUTE OF CULTURE, KOLKATA

RAMAKRISHNA MISSION INSTITUTE OF CULTURE, GOL PARK, KOLKATA presents  Cultural Programmes at Vivekananda Hall on 6 April 2024.

Hindustani Vocalist Debdeep Mishra with Suprabhat Bhattacharya and Subrata Bhattacharya on Tabla and harmonium will be presenting a spectacular extravaganza of Music in the evening @ 5.45 PM on 6 April 2024. Musicians Palash Kuri with Debajyoti Bose and Arpan Bhattacharya on Tabla and Harmonium will also be presenting the charismatic concert with their scintillating performance.

Debdeep Mishra, the grandson of legendary Vocalist Pandit Bishnu Sebak Misra of Benaras Gharana loved music and started learning at the age of four under the guidance of his mother Smt. Banani Misra, disciple of legendary musician Pandit A Kanan and Vidushi Girija Devi, and his father Shri Debasis Misra.

Later he was rigorously trained under the renowned musicians Pandit Tushar Dutta and Pandit Anirudha Bhattacharya. He studied ‘Sangeet Prabhakar’ from the premier institution Prayag Sangeet Samiti of Allahabad, ‘Sangeet Visharad’ degree from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh and completed Masters in Physics with a Gold Medal.

Hindustani Vocalist Debdeep Mishra has performed in various programmes and honoured with Giridhari Ratna Samman (2017), Pandit Trimbakrao Janorikar. Sashtriya Gayan, Kala Aparanji Award, Sangeet Pratibha Samman (2018) and Sangeet kanaka Mani Samman (2018).
