Vaishali Kala Kendra is one of the leading dance institutions founded for promoting and propagating Odissi dance and Vocal music in India and abroad. Vaishali Kala Kendra, for more than two decades has been organising “Guru Pranam Utsav” in the memory and honour of late Guru Srinath Raut who dedicated his life to proliferating the importance of Odissi as a cultural dance form.

NRITYA ULLAS is dedicated to dance and will feature performances by young budding dancers and senior performers including Dr. Jyothi Shrivastava and Bharatanatyam recital will be performed by disciples of Guru. Padmashri Geeta Chandran, a celebrated artist in Indian classical Bharata natyam.
The performances will also include a presentation dedicated to the environment that supports initiatives of Isha Foundation led by SadhGuru to spread awareness to save the Mother Earth.

DHWANI is dedicated to Music and will feature Hindustani Khyal and Dhrupad presentation by Guru Asim Chakraborty and Siddharth Kishore followed by Pakahwaj recital by Shri Prafulla Managaraj and group.
Guru Asim Chakraborty is acknowledged as one of the most respected Hindustani Khayal and Dhrupad exponents, has gone through the rich traditions of Guru Shishya parampara and now conducts his own gurukul, teaching Khayal and dhrupad.
Siddarth Kishore, a devoted singer has performed in India and abroad including Malaysia and various places in the US. He has had the privilege of learning music through various workshops conducted by great gurus including Ashim Chakroborty, Ritesh Mishra and Prof. Ram Hari Das. He excels in Hindustani classical, Odissi and devotional music.
