GROUP EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS, SCULPTURES AND CRAFTS TITLED ‘RAMAYANA’ AT AGARTALA
J.B. School of Fine Arts, Agartala, Tripura (West) organised a group exhibition of Paintings, Sculptures and Crafts titled ‘RAMAYANA’ under the guidance of renowned artist Joydeep Bhattacharjee at Lalit Kala Akademi Art Gallery, Agartala from 5 June 2024 till 7 June 2024.
Participants of this theme-based exhibition included more than 100 talented students of age group varying from 4 – 19 years and depicted various phases of the great epic of Indian culture, Ramayana. The unique event marked a grand success as such sort of theme-based show was never organised before.
“Spectators from various platforms having a good taste of Indian heritage and culture crowded the gallery and felt thrilled in discovering such marvellous forms of spiritual and devotional tasks. The event also inspired our upcoming generation to get more and more familiar with the spiritual and devotional aspects of our culture,” says renowned contemporary visual artist Joydeep Bhattacharjee.
“The event also marked a unique platform to broadcast the hidden talents of the young generation and also make them know more about our great epic Indian culture,” artist Joydeep added.
