GAUDIYA NRITYA WORKSHOP: A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE BENGAL’S CLASSICAL DANCE HERITAGE

The Gaudiya Nritya Workshop at Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Museum is a chance for enthusiasts to immerse themselves in this classical dance form from Bengal, India. Led by two esteemed scholars—Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Calcutta University) Former Professor & Dean, Rabindra Bharati University Fulbright Fellow, University of Oklahoma, USA Artistic Founder Director – Gaudiya Nritya Bharati and Pandit Amitava Mukherjee, Principal of Gaudiya Nritya Bharati, Kolkata—the workshop promises an enriching learning experience for participants.
Scheduled for June 2 to June 4, 2025, the workshop starts at 10:30 AM each day, offering hands-on training and deep insights into this mesmerizing art form.
Renowned maestros Dr. Mahua Mukherjee and Pandit Amitava Mukherjee will lead participants through the rich heritage, intricate movements and deep philosophy of Gaudiya Nritya. With their vast experience and contributions to the art form, they promise an enlightening exploration of tradition and technique.
