EXPERIENCE THE SPIRITUAL HARMONY AT KALA-YOGA SATSANGA IN PUDUCHERRY
Kala-Yoga Satsanga at TASMAI, Puducherry conducts Satsanga on Sunday, 6 October 2024.
This week, Tasmai invites to explore the Perumukkal Temple, a stunning historical site located atop Perumukkal Hill near Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu. Originally constructed in brick and later transformed into a stone temple during the reign of Vikrama Chola (1183-1235 A.D), this temple is dedicated to Thiruvanmikai Eswaramudayar, also known as Perumukkal Udayar in Tamil and Mukthialeeswarar in Sanskrit.
The organizers of Kala-Yoga Satsanga emphasize the need for restoration and cleaning of this beautiful temple, aiming to reconnect with the local community and revive its cultural significance.
The temple also features ancient petroglyphs, believed to be from the megalithic age, making it one of the four such carvings found in India, as per some researchers.
The Satsanga will commence from TASMAI, Puducherry at 6:00 AM and will return by 2:00 PM.
