A Grand Opening to Celebrate Artistic Excellence
The 2nd Exhibition of Paintings & Sculptures by RBU92 opens its doors with a ceremonious inauguration by the eminent artist Sri Manoj Sarkar, former Principal of Government College of Arts & Crafts and former Regional Secretary, Lalitkala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata, on 13th September 2025 @ 6 PM, at the North Gallery, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata.
This momentous occasion will be graced by distinguished guest—Sri Subrata Gangopadhyay, an eminent painter revered for his masterful strokes.
A Reunion of Creative Souls –Celebrating the Artistic Legacy of RBU’s 1992 Batch
Prof. Parthapratim Deb, former Head of the Department of the Faculty of Visual Arts at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, expressed heartfelt pride and joy in extending his warm greetings to the students of the 1992 BVA batch as they reunited to present their second exhibition.
He remarked that the gathering, held within the historic Jorasanko campus, evoked a deep sense of nostalgia and reverence. He further noted that the university, which began its journey in 1972 within the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore, continues to inspire generations of artists and educators.
