Exhibition at KIAF 2026
Dr. Supriti Datta’s exquisite works will be showcased at the Kolkata International Art Fair (KIAF) 2026, held from 10th to 16th January at EZCC, Salt Lake City. A Celebrated Artistic Journey
Born in the late 1950s, Dr. Datta holds a Doctorate in Botany and served as Professor of Plant Sciences at RBC College for Women, Calcutta University. Her academic journey in plant sciences seamlessly merges with her artistic vision, making her paintings both soulful and scientifically rooted. Deeply influenced by the Bengal School of Painting, her style is traditional yet touched by contemporary ideas that rise from within—gentle, intuitive and full of life.
Over the years, Dr. Datta has held eight solo exhibitions and participated in more than 48 group shows across India. Her works have found homes in private collections both in India and abroad, while her story has been featured in leading newspapers and television channels. Each exhibition adds another chapter to her inspiring journey—a testament to passion, perseverance, and the power of self-expression.
