Dr. Gopal Jayaraman Shines at Bengaluru National Art Fair

The prestigious National Art Fair, organized by Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru, has once again become a vibrant stage for India’s artistic voices. With nearly 150 artists from across the country presenting their creative works, the fair stands as a living testament to the diversity and depth of contemporary Indian art.

Among the distinguished participants is Dr. Gopal Jayaraman, a renowned artist, art educator, researcher, and therapist from Puducherry. His exhibition stall radiates with 32 paintings, ranging from semi-abstract explorations and cultural themes to landscapes and psychologically inspired compositions. Each canvas carries his signature richness of texture and a visual language that speaks directly to the heart.

Visitors have been especially captivated by his natural landscape paintings, many of which were created on-site in the villages of Puducherry. These works, infused with authenticity and immediacy, invite viewers into serene dialogues with nature. His semi-abstract pieces, meanwhile, open windows into the subconscious, blending psychology with artistry in ways that intrigue and inspire.

With over 35 years of experience in fine arts, Dr. Gopal’s journey has extended beyond India, through cultural research and artistic exchange programs in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Indonesia. His international perspective enriches his work, making his canvases both deeply rooted and globally resonant.

The exhibition stalls at the National Art Fair welcome the public with free entry, offering art lovers and the general public a rare opportunity to experience this diverse collection until Sunday, 7:00 PM.
