PROF. DR. MAHUA MUKHERJEE

Former Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Director, Centre for Studies in Dance Form of Bengal, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.

Prof. Dr. Piyush Kanti Panigrahi, Professor, Department of Information Science, University of Calcutta and Prof. Dr. Urmi Roychoudhuri, Professor, Department of Bengali Language and Literature, University of Calcutta will be attending the function.

Special Lecture and presentation of Gaudia Nritya will be conducted under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, the renowned artist and the exponent of Indian Classical dance, Gaudiya Nritya. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee has significantly contributed to popularise this ancient dance form Gaudiya Nritya in the country.

The department of Buddhist studies which was established in 2014 conducts Dhammachakra Pravartana Jayanti Celebration  on 12 August 2022.
