CONFLUENCE –EXHIBITION OF ARTWORKS OF LEGENDARY ARTISTS
SURESH K. NAIR AND LARISSA NOURY
SRI SATHYA SAI ORPHANAGE TRUST- KERALA, the largest NGO in Kerala providing an array of altruistic service to humanity, has presented an Exhibition of Arts titled CONFLUENCE, showcasing art works of two legendary artists, Prof. Suresh K. Nair, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Prof. Larissa Noury, France at SAI ARTS VILLAGE, Saigramam, Thiruvananthapuram during the first week of June 2023.
Eminent Artist B. D. Dathan inaugurated the Show in the presence of eminent Calligrapher and designer Narayana Bhattathiri. Shri. K. N. Anand Kumar, founder and Executive Director, Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust-Kerala and artist Ms. Vinita Anand graced the function. Many dignitaries and students of Sai Arts and Science College visited the show.

Prof. Suresh K Nair, Department of Painting, Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi has acquired a major presence in the Indian and International art scene over the last decade conducting several successful shows with regional and international galleries and museums. He was awarded the Elizabeth Green Shield Foundation Scholarship from Canada, Fulbright Fellowship from USA for an Educational Exchange Programme at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia.

The renowned artist Larissa Noury is an Architect-colourist and works as Professor of Colour ITECOM Art & Design, Paris. She also worked as Professor of Colour, Department of Arts, Bordeaux & High School of Arts & Techniques Paris, Guest researcher-colourist, Scandinavian Colour Institute, Stockholm and President-founder of CEC “Colour-Space-Culture” International Association.
She has a PhD in Art & Architecture, studied at the Polytechnic School in Minsk and Academy of Fine Arts, Saint Petersburg. Also has PhD in History of Arts, University Michel de Montagne, Bordeaux.
Prof. Larissa Noury has conducted more than 30 solo shows and group exhibitions in France, the United States, Australia, Spain, Korea, Malaysia and other places in the world. She has received the Samskrithi Award -2022 from Samskriti Foundation, Kerala for her outstanding contributions in the field of Art, Environment and Culture at National and International arena.
