Celebrating the Soul, a solo exhibition by renowned artist Sayeeda Ali, is currently on view at the State Gallery of Art, Madhapur, Hyderabad, from 19th to 26th October 2025.
Curated by Fawad Tamkanat and Atiya Anjad, the show brings together Ali’s vibrant paintings of sunflowers and birds—each canvas alive with color, texture and quiet emotion.

Sayeeda Ali’s journey as an artist began with quiet dedication and a deep love for colour. She earned her BFA from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 1991, followed by an MFA from Central University, Hyderabad in 1994. Even before completing her studies, she was honoured with the prestigious Scholarship to Young Workers by the Ministry of Human Resources in 1992—a recognition of her early promise and creative spirit.
Her academic path laid the foundation for a lifelong exploration of texture, emotion and the expressive power of paint.
