CELEBRATING CREATIVE-2025: A CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA

CREATIVE-2025 was a grand celebration of art, culture and ideas, held from February 24 to February 26, 2025. Organized by the Department of RSDD, Sangit Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, this event brought together a vibrant confluence of creativity and innovation.

Attendees were captivated by engaging programs and activities, making it a memorable experience for art enthusiasts and culture connoisseurs alike. The event’s success highlighted the rich cultural tapestry and artistic brilliance.

During the Festival, an International Seminar featured the esteemed Natya Shri Smt. Debjani Chatterjee, a renowned dance practitioner and teacher. On February 26, 2025, at Lipika Auditorium, Viswabharati, she delivered a captivating keynote address on “Clothes, Caste, Culture: a Performative Exploration of Identity.” 

Guru Smt. Chatterjee, who has graced prestigious platforms like the ABU International Dance Festival, Natyanjali Dance Festival, Bharat Sanskriti Utsav, Amravati Nrityotsav, Uday Shankar Festival, Vaisakhi Nritya Utsav, All India Art and Craft Mela and many more, shared her insights and experiences. 

As a Bharatnatyam dancer and the founder of Prabaha Kalabhoomi, she continues to blend tradition with innovation, fostering cultural heritage through her art.
