Through symbols and strong metaphorical languages, his works offer a deep and insightful exploration of these themes.
“In my works, I often depict the serene yet poignant images of Indian villages I have traversed. India, being predominantly an agricultural land, sees a majority of its people engaged in farming, many of whom live in poverty. As an artist, I believe it is my duty to bring their struggles to light. Through my canvas, I portray their agony and resilience,” he shares, reflecting on his own experiences. Having traveled extensively during his early childhood, he had to discontinue his studies to support his livelihood.
On 29th and 30th August 2024, where eminent artists, poets, and dignitaries will share their perspectives in various seminars and discussions.
Senior artist Gayathri’s retrospective comprising of more than 300 artworks and sculptures will be exhibited here.
