Baithaki 2026 – Hindustani & Carnatic Harmony at Eternal Oasis Gurugram

At Eternal Oasis Gurugram, Swaranjali Delhi brings back the timeless intimacy of the baithak. On August 8 at 6 PM, Prakriti Hall becomes a sanctuary where Hindustani and Carnatic traditions entwine in luminous harmony.

A Confluence of Two Traditions

Dr. Smt. Veena Sawale shines as a rare vocalist where gharana tradition meets innovation

A graded artist of All India Radio, she has performed across India and abroad, her voice carrying devotion and mastery. At IIT Mumbai, she led music teams for historic occasions—the G20 Summit 2023, addressed by the President and Vice President of India, and convocations graced by the Prime Minister, including the first‑ever virtual convocation in 2020. Her artistry found immortal form in the 13‑episode AIR series Ashtau Prahar – Ek Avirat Naad Yaatra (2016), rebroadcast many times on popular demand.

Dr. Smt. Veena Sawale carries the Hindustani stream with grace born of years of riyaz, while renowned Smt. Sudha Raghuraman embodies the Carnatic voice, blending technical mastery with emotional depth.

Sudha Raghuraman stands as one of India’s most luminous Carnatic voices — a composer and educator whose music flows from a lineage steeped in devotion and discipline. Her mellifluous presence once graced the Commonwealth Games inaugural in New Delhi, where classical dance entwined with her timeless compositions in a symphony of heritage and pride.

An ‘A’-graded artist of All India Radio, she has performed at the prestigious AIR Sangeet Sammelan and has been empanelled with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

On India’s grandest stages — from Vishnu Digambar Jain Festival to the Sangeet Natak Akademi’s national conclaves — her voice has shimmered with timeless resonance. Across oceans, in Mauritius, North America, Europe, and Australia, Sudha Raghuraman’s Carnatic tradition has soared — proof that music sung with conviction transcends language and speaks to the soul.

Together they bridge Hindustani and Carnatic streams—north and south, creating a dialogue of devotion and artistry.

Supporting this confluence are Shri G. Raghuraman, Shri Jitendra Swain, Shri Kshitij Singh, and Shri M. V. Chander Shekar—their instruments and rhythms weaving the evening into a seamless tapestry of sound.

THE LEGACY OF SWARANJALI DELHI

Championing the baithak format, Swaranjali Delhi ensures that Baithaki 2026 is more than performance—it is communion, a gathering open to all who wish to sit close to music’s heart.
