“Children are born with the gift of imagination and innovation. Through the medium of theatre, I tap into their potential and channel it in an artistic way,” said Abhishek Malik, the theatre practitioner with a decade long experience in acting, writing and directing. 

Abhishek Malik has been facilitating theatre workshops for children since seven years, including many in alternate, integral education schools, NGOs, Juvenile Justice Board, Special Kids and associates with many theatre groups.

 “Theatre arts are a great gateway for expressing other art forms like dance and music that further opens up a child’s world. With the world today brimming with unlimited digital distractions that are decreasing our children’s attention spans, exposure in an art form like theatre helps children develop patience, attentiveness, teamwork and above all, lets them discover the absolute joy of creation!,” said  Abhishek in an online interview.

He has performed more than 1000 street plays on social issues and participated in many international theatre workshops like Theatre du Soleil (France) and Centocani Branco Teatrale (Italy)
