This unique open air Art Project showcases live music with Yoga and fine Arts titled Varnika, Anahata & The Saga of Joy.
o Varnika – The expression of brush strokes on canvas with the live music
o Anahata – The union of body and mind with the rhythmic sway of yoga with live music
o The Saga of Joy –An exuberant fantasy of Indian Classical melody and world percussion by an internationally acclaimed fusion band, Impulse.
The project – Art for Peace aims to spread awareness amongst masses that the idea of peace, which has been much talked can only be imbibed and cultivated if one starts to live artfully.
Art can aid in intrinsically embodying the idea of peace in the truest sense.
Peace can be interpreted as the calmness of the mind and soul, the urge to refrain from engaging in anything that makes us restless or aggressive, the want to remain serene though all walks of life and to find happiness and choose spirituality every time.
“Happiness and peace is a choice. A choice that can be made consciously if the right catalysts are provided. Art is one such catalyst. We realise this, through the event we envision. This project is thus dedicated to the International Day of Happiness, being on 20th March. The idea does not make us avoid the gloomy or tough times, rather inspires us to navigate through everything gracefully, to embrace all emotions, feel everything but yet choose to grow with it,” says Arunangshu Chaudhury, founder President of Vrindan Foundation for Art and Culture, a non-profit organization in New Delhi.
“The foundation seeks to instill in people the belief that self- care and nourishment, instinctively paves a way for community welfare and promotes holistic well being through the resonating powers of performing and visual arts thereby rejuvenating people’s spirits,” says the Founder President.
The Foundation conducts various workshops and empowers the rich art and cultural heritage of our nation.
