“This group show brings together artists of diverse backgrounds with unique visual language and displays art works of figurative as well as abstract forms using innovative and expressive textures,” says Suresh Koothuparamba, the renowned artist and curator of the show.
On display are the works of a balanced mix of senior and emerging artists including senior artists of international acclaim Abhimanyu Govind and Kanayi Kunhiraman.
Rajkumar Sthabhathi who is known for his spontaneous blending of colours, documenting ‘traditional, authentic and natural faces’ of rural folks in water colours exhibits his works in the Show.
T. Kaladharan, the renowned artist is the recipient of innumerable awards and showed his works in all prestigious art galleries in India and abroad. He is a good organiser and associated with many international art and sculpture workshops.
The Hyderabad based artist Manohar Chiluveru is known for his paintings, sculptures and his interactive large scale live public art paintings.
Udaya Chiluveru is a highly talented artist who works with mixed media paintings and sculptures.
Tensing Joseph, the eminent artist and Sculptor who has conducted many shows in India and abroad including Moscow International Qui Vive Biennale for young art, Moscow Museum of Modern Art Organized by Ministry of Cultural Affairs and Vam Art Gallery, New Jersey 2012.
P.K Sadanandan is famous for his mural arts and has participated in the renovation of mural paintings in Sree Padmanabha Temple, Thiruvananthapuram.
Shibu Natesan is an internationally renowned contemporary artist and showed his works all over India and abroad. He studied Painting and Printmaking from M.S University, Baroda and later underwent a two year residency at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
Pradeep Puthoor’s works adorn many art Galleries and participated in several exhibitions and workshops . He has received many awards including the British Overseas League award.
Other eminent artists in this show include Binuraj Kalapeetom, Sreeja Pallam, Thomas Kurisingal, Sumesh Kamballur, Jagesh Edakkad, Sajith Puthukkalavattom, Sumesh K Shanmughan, Vijayakumar Karakkamandapam and Joy Chacko.
