Since the tender age of five, Arnav Machhindra Buwa has immersed himself in the sacred discipline of Hindustani Classical Music, shaping his voice into an instrument of devotion and artistry. His training in the Gwalior–Kirana Gharana under the guidance of his father, Shri Machhindra Buwa, disciple of the illustrious Padmashri Pandit M. Venkatesh Kumar, has instilled in him both the depth of tradition and the refinement of gharana purity.
Arnav’s journey is not confined to classrooms alone. His regular practice and seva at Shri Vireshwar Punyashram (Sangeet Ashram), Gadag, Karnataka reflect a life dedicated to discipline, humility, and spiritual resonance. Each riyaaz becomes a prayer, each note a step closer to the eternal essence of music.
His artistry has already graced major stages across India. From the Veereshwar Punyashram Mahotsav, Gadag (2023, 2024, 2025) to the Chitnavis Centre, Nagpur (2025), and the prestigious 1st Allahdiya Khan Yuva Sangeet Samaroh, Mumbai at Ravindra Natya Mandir (2025), Arnav’s voice has stirred audiences with its purity and power. The Shruti Samvaad Festival, Banaras (2026) and the Five Elements – Jal, Bangalore further showcased his ability to blend tradition with contemporary resonance.
Beyond these celebrated platforms, Arnav has performed across Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Raichur, Gulbarga, Pune, Mumbai, Narmadapuram, Haveri, Chennai, and many more cities — each performance a testament to his growing stature as a young torchbearer of classical heritage.

From winning 1st Prize at the Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Memorial Classical Singing Competition (Kankavali) to receiving the prestigious Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Award (2022) and performing at its Mahotsav, Arnav’s voice has consistently resonated with purity and depth. His triumph at the Krishnamai Ghat Sanstha State Level Classical Vocal Competition (Satara, 2023) and the Rasikagrani Madanmohan Lohia Sanskrutik Manch (Natyasangeet & Bhavageet, 2023) further showcased his versatility across genres.
The year 2023 marked a golden chapter, with victories at the Antarnaad Kala Academy National Competition (Pune) and the Chhandayan International Competition (New York), affirming his stature on both national and international platforms. His artistry continued to shine with the Megh Malhar Competition (August 2024), the State Level Youth Festival (Nov 2024), and as 1st Runner‑up at the Sadguru Jagjit Singh Competition (Ludhiana, 2024).
Arnav’s excellence carried into 2025, where he claimed 1st Prize at the West Zone Youth Festival (Mehsana), the Sur Sangam Competition (Jaipur), and the Panvel Cultural Centre Competition (Mumbai). His crowning glory came with the Gold Medal at the All India University National Competition (Amity University, 2025), followed by the distinguished Swar Jyotsna Puraskar (2025).
