ANNUAL APPRECIATION DAY AT APEEJAY SCHOOL, PANCHSHEEL PARK, NEW DELHI TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS AND SHOWCASED MESMERISING CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA
Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi recently celebrated its Annual Appreciation Day with much grandeur and gaiety, recognising the outstanding achievements of students in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas as well as showcased a mesmerising cultural extravaganza by the students comprising music, dance and plays – all reflecting the abundant creativity and talent of the students.
This year’s theme – ‘Unboxed,’ depicted the need to avoid set patterns, boundaries and stereotypes that hinder the growth potential of the young minds.
The two days event recognised the outstanding achievements of students in not only scholastic and co-scholastic areas but also endeavours that promote human values and ethical conduct. Apart from the prize distribution, the function also showcased a mesmerising cultural extravaganza by the students comprising music, dance and plays – all reflecting the abundant creativity and talent of the students.
“Our commitment is to provide a value-based and holistic education. While we focus on emerging frontiers of science and disruptive technologies, we also ensure that human values are incorporated and imbibed in a seamless manner,” said Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group & Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University who reflected on her own journey as a proud alumna of Apeejay School Panchsheel Park from where she did her schooling, graced the function virtually.
On the first day, Chief Guest Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Director-Academics at CBSE said that he was delighted to see the holistic education, as per the National Education Policy, reflected in the many achievements of the school.
The Guest of honour, Ms Ragini Rainu, renowned Sufi singer, commented on the importance of overcoming social evils.
On the next day, Chief Guest Mr Bhupesh Chaudhary (IAS), Director, Training & Technical Education & Director of Higher Education, motivated the students by saying that society and nation will support our progress if we keep believing in ourselves.
Ms Reela Hota, renowned Odissi dancer graced the function as Guest of Honour and highlighted the importance of activities like dance and yoga for well-being.
