Celebrating India’s 79th Independence Day with Tribute and Tradition in Kolkata
As our nation proudly marks its 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025, the members of ABPSSP Kolkata join in the celebration by paying heartfelt tribute to our brave martyrs at Shahid Mangal Pandey Samadhi Sthal, Barrackpur (opposite Base Hospital Gate).
The event will feature a vibrant cultural heritage program of patriotic songs and dance, graced by distinguished station officers and veteran families.
The Chief Guest for the occasion is Honourable Lt. Gen Anup Banerji (Retd), former Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services, New Delhi.

Tomorrow, the stage will come alive with a stirring performance of patriotic dance and music by the acclaimed students of the Nandini Sinha Centre of Performing Arts—one of India’s foremost cultural institutions.
