A Soulful Evening of Indian Classical Harmony – Sangeet Sandhya’s “Swar Pravah”

In a heartfelt tribute to two decades of nurturing Indian classical arts, Sangeet Sandhya presents Swar Pravah—an evening steeped in melody, tradition and reverence. 

Held at the iconic Jhankar Hall, Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi, this celebration on Sunday, 28 December 2025, promises a rich tapestry of performances that honor the timeless spirit of Indian music.

The evening begins with a gentle wave of devotion—a graceful Mangalacharan performed by the disciples of Vidushi Nabanita Chowdhary.  Known for her soulful artistry and celebrated across India and countries far and wide—her presence echoes through every note. As a beloved guru, her legacy flows through her students, touching hearts and inspiring generations with the timeless beauty of Indian classical music. Their invocation sets a serene tone, blending devotion with discipline, and offering a glimpse into the depth of her musical lineage.

Following this auspicious start, the audience will be immersed in the shimmering sounds of the santoor, performed by the acclaimed Pandit Ranjeet Pathak. His recital promises to evoke the gentle flow of rivers and the quiet strength of tradition. The evening deepens with a soulful vocal performance by Swati Tiwari Srivastava, whose emotive renditions are known to stir hearts and awaken memories.

Supporting these stellar acts are co-artistes of great repute—Pandit Raj Kumar Nahar, Ujith Uday Kumar, Sudip Chowdhury on tabla and Zakir Dholpuri on harmonium—each bringing their own mastery to the ensemble. 

The evening will be seamlessly guided by compère Anshu Agarwal, ensuring a harmonious flow of performances.
