Upcoming Cultural Milestone: Bharat Sanskriti Yatra’s 573rd Concert to Illuminate Kurukshetra
On the evening of 27th January 2026, the historic city of Kurukshetra, Haryana, will resonate with the soul of India’s classical heritage as the 573rd concert of Bharat Sanskriti Yatra unfolds at the Multi Art Cultural Centre Auditorium.
Organized by the Hindusthan Art & Music Society in collaboration with Haryana Kala Parishad, this prestigious event will mark a grand celebration of 150 Years of Vande Mataram, India’s revered national song.
Presided over by Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana and Chief Patron of the program, the concert promises an unforgettable experience steeped in tradition and artistry.
The evening will feature an ensemble of legendary performers: Pandit Abhay Rustum Sopori on Santoor, Pandit Mithilesh Jha on Tabla, and Shri. Rishi Shankar Upadhyay on Pakhawaj will offer a mesmerizing instrumental dialogue.
Renowned Vocalist Vidushi Nabanita Chowdhary, accompanied by Shri. Aritro Chowdhury (Tabla) and Shri. Tarun Joshi (Harmonium), will present evocative renditions that echo the spirit of the land. Adding a visual flourish, Ms. Minu Garu’s Kathak performance will bring rhythm and grace to the stage.
