An Evening of Raga: Sandhya Music Conference’s 2nd Annual Classical Music Festival, Kolkata

As the lanterns glow and dusk settles over the City of Joy, Sandhya Music Conference, Supported by Parameshwari (Estd. 2013), returns with its 2nd Annual Classical Music Festival, an evening devoted to melody, devotion and tradition.

Since its founding in 2025, Sandhya Music Conference has made room for the timeless sounds of Indian classical music. This year’s lineup brings together voices and strings that speak straight to the soul.

The Program

• Vocal: Atasi Sarkar, with Kartick Karmakar (tabla) and Sanjoy Kr. Biswas (harmonium)
• Vocal: Puja Sen, with Krishnendu Paul (tabla) and Snehasish Chatterjee (harmonium)
• Sitar: Partha Pratim Roy, with Anirban Dasgupta (tabla)
• Vocal: Debarghya Roy, with Laxmi Narayan Ojha (tabla) and Sanjoy Kr. Biswas (harmonium)

From a gentle alaap to the final taan, the evening promises the kind of music that slows time and stays with you long after the last note fades.
