Bharat Tex 2026: India’s Heritage Weaves Global Celebrations

India’s largest global textile event, Bharat Tex 2026, opened today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, inaugurated by Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh in the presence of Minister of State Pabitra Margherita and textile leaders from across the country.

The event showcases India’s rising global leadership in textiles, fashion, sustainability, technology and trade, bringing together manufacturers, exporters, buyers, investors, policymakers, artisans, start‑ups and innovators.

“Bharat Tex is the vision of the Prime Minister. It is now an international event, with exhibitors, buyers, sellers, and visitors increasing every year. This year, over 60,000 buyers and exhibitors from 130 countries are participating. MSMEs and entrepreneurs are also attending, and Free Trade Agreements are benefiting the sector,” said Giriraj Singh, Minister of Textiles.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F Vision—Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign, Bharat Tex has evolved into a premier global platform for business, innovation and partnerships across the textile value chain.

The third edition welcomes around 7,000 buyers and showcases over 20,000 textile products, with international exhibitors from 14 countries and more than 350 speakers from 20 nations.
