Summer Theatre Workshop 2026 – Unleash the Magic of Mazhavillu
Since its inception in 2000, Mazhavillu, the children’s theatre wing of Lokadharmi, has been a vibrant space where imagination takes center stage. This summer, the tradition continues with an extraordinary opportunity for young dreamers to step into the spotlight.
“We are thrilled to announce our annual Summer Theatre Workshop for 2026! Guided by acclaimed Workshop Director Chandradasan, along with senior artists and special guest faculty, this is more than just a camp—it’s a journey into the world of expression” —organisers.
DATES: April 21 – April 25 / 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM / VENUE: Lokadharmi, Nadakaveedu, Manattuparampu, Vypin, Kerala / AGE GROUP: 8 to 17 years

The workshop is a kaleidoscope of artistic disciplines designed to nurture creativity and confidence:
- Acting & Voice Training | Playwriting & Literature | Improvisation & Clowning
- Clay Modelling & Mask Making | Puppetry & Painting | Yoga & Dance
- Folk Songs & Language | Ottanthullal, Chavittu Nadakam & Tholpavakoothu
A GRAND FINALE & FUTURE STARS : The journey culminates in live performances by the participants, showcasing their newfound skills. Selected children will also be cast in Mazhavillu’s next major production—an incredible chance to shine on stage.
