Swara Zankar Season 17: Swar Basant Kolkata – A Tribute to Vidushi Subhra Ghose

Kolkata’s cultural calendar finds new resonance with Swara Zankar Season 17, presenting Swar Basant Kolkata in cherished memory of Vidushi Subhra Ghose. 

Organized by Violin Academy and Waltz, this evening of classical brilliance will unfold on 1st March 2026, from 6 PM onwards, at the serene Santoshpur Lake, Shiv Mandir Ground, Kolkata.

The stage will be graced by soulful performances from Nabanita Chowdhary and Ruchira Panda on vocals, alongside the evocative violin artistry of Tejas Upadhye. Supporting the ensemble are maestros on tabla—Bivash Sanghal, Arunabha Mukherjee, and Chiranjit Mukherjee—and harmonium virtuoso Anirban Chakrabarty, weaving a tapestry of rhythm and melody.

With the support of Oerlikon as presenter and Wilo as co-sponsor, this festival promises not just music, but a heartfelt homage to tradition and memory.
