Udaan 2025: A Joyous Flight of Talent and Togetherness at Saini International School Maheshtala 

On the evening of December 21, 2025, Saini International School Maheshtala, Kolkata,  came alive with vibrant energy and heartfelt celebration as it hosted its Annual Day event, Udaan: Blooming Together. 

The event was a vibrant cultural evening that beautifully reflected the school’s values, creativity and commitment to holistic development. The theme of the program, “Blooming Together”, focused on the conservation of nature and its deep influence on culture, conveying a powerful message of harmony between humanity and the environment.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of renowned artist and scholar Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, who served as the Chief Guest and inspired the students with her wisdom, warmth and artistic spirit. 

The concert was held under the inspiring leadership of the Principal, Smt. Diya Das, whose vision and guidance continue to motivate students and staff alike. The programme was strongly supported by the Vice Principal, Smt. Rashmi Mishra and the coordinators Smt.Runa Mohanta and Mrs. Jennifer Shahin, whose dedication and coordination contributed significantly to the success of the event.

Through a series of captivating performances—including dances, songs, and thematic dramatizations—the students portrayed how nature shapes traditions, lifestyles, and cultural

expressions across generations. Each act emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and living in harmony with nature. The performances were rich in creativity, emotion, and social awareness, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The entire programme was efficiently planned and executed by the Programme Coordinator, Ms. Sritama Karmakar along with all the teachers, who meticulously ensured the smooth flow of events and flawless stage management.

The 4th Annual Concert concluded on an inspiring note, spreading awareness about environmental responsibility while celebrating cultural diversity. “Blooming Together” truly lived up to its name, symbolizing collective growth, unity and hope for a sustainable future.

The event was a proud moment for the Saini International School family and a memorable experience for all present.
