Bhavtarang 2025: A Divine Duet of Bharatanatyam and Odissi

On the luminous evening of 15 December 2025 @ 5:45 pm,  Girish Manch will echo with the rhythms of devotion and grace as Punascha Nritya Kala Kendra presents the fourth edition of Bhavtarang 2025. Under the artistic direction of Nandita Banerjee, this cultural celebration unveils Jayatyeka Devi—a spellbinding duet of Bharatanatyam and Odissi, where tradition meets transcendence.

Featuring the expressive finesse of Arnab Bandyopadhyay (Odissi) and the evocative depth of Nandita Banerjee (Bharatanrityam), the performance promises a confluence of classical energies that honour the feminine divine. 

Amidst the vibrant tapestry of Bhavtarang 2025, the evening unfolds with Subhangik—two evocative choreographies, Primordial Whispers and Jauban Dhan, crafted by Subhajit Khush Das, whose ensemble reimagines classical idioms with poetic intensity.

Adding to the festival’s rich palette, Kohinoor Dance Academy presents Satabarshe Salil, directed by Kohinoor Sen Barat, a visual homage to Kaya’s signature style. Curated by Punascha Nritya Kala Kendra, this gathering of artistes, students and rasikas celebrates the spirit of Indian classical dance through innovation, tradition and shared joy.
