Alladiya Khan Yuva Sangeet Samaroh: A Grand Tribute to Tradition and Talent in Mumbai
On 9th November 2025, from 10.00 AM to 10.30 PM, the Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, will resonate with the timeless spirit of Indian classical music as the 1st Sangeet Samrat Alladiya Khan Yuva Sangeet Samaroh unfolds.
Organized by D.R. Khadke Pratisthan in association with P.L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, this day-long celebration honours the legacy of Alladiya Khan while spotlighting young musical talent from across the country.
The event will be inaugurated by Adv. Ashish Shelar, Hon. Minister of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra.
This special evening will honour the timeless legacy of Alladiya Khan while celebrating the vibrant spirit of young classical musicians—where tradition inspires tomorrow.
On 9th November, the ceremony will be followed by a heartfelt tribute to Shri Navinchandra Chhotalal Parekh—vocalist, composer, and a devoted soul of classical music, whose recent passing leaves a silence filled with reverence. Felicitations will also be offered to all revered gurus—the guiding lights who continue to shape the spirit of Indian music across generations.
A vibrant constellation of maestros will illuminate the stage at the upcoming musical gathering.
From the soulful artistry of Vidushi Seema Shirodkar, Vidushi Shubhra Guha, Vidushi Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, and Vidushi Shubhada Paradkar to the rhythmic brilliance of Pandit Sudhir Nayak, Pandit Mukundraj Deo, Pandit Yogesh Samsi, Pandit Nayan Ghosh, Pandit Vishwanah Kanhere and Pandit Utkas Kashalkar, the evening promises a rich tapestry of sound.
Joining them are the scholarly voices of Dr. Aneesh Pradhan and Dr. Ram Shankar, the expressive talents of Shri Anup Joshi and Shri Macchinder Bawa, and the powerful presence of Pandit Kedar Bodas, Pandit Akhilesh Gundecha, and Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan.
