WHISPERS OF THE SOUL: SHAYEEDA ALI’S SOLO ART EXHIBITION AT CHITRAKALA PARISHATH, BENGALURU

From October 11th to 19th, the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru became a sanctuary of color and emotion, as renowned artist Shayeeda Ali unveiled her solo exhibition, Whispers of the Soul.

Presented by ARTELLA, the show invited viewers into a world where abstract hues spoke of silence, memory and feeling. The opening evening shimmered with presence—eminent artist Shri S G Vasudev, curator Ms. Nalini Malaviya, and NGMA curator, museologist & artist Mr. Darshan Kumar Yu lent their voices to the celebration.

Her expressive brushwork and poetic themes invite viewers into a world where nature and spirit meet, offering a soulful experience that celebrates both beauty and depth.

Sayeeda Ali’s journey as an artist began with quiet dedication and a deep love for colour. She earned her BFA from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 1991, followed by an MFA from Central University, Hyderabad in 1994. Even before completing her studies, she was honoured with the prestigious Scholarship to Young Workers by the Ministry of Human Resources in 1992—a recognition of her early promise and creative spirit.

Her academic path laid the foundation for a lifelong exploration of texture, emotion and the expressive power of paint.
