Bharat Sanskriti Yatra 2025: A Grand Celebration of Indian Classical Music in New Delhi
From August 8th to 10th, 2025, the cultural heart of New Delhi will pulse with melody and tradition, as the Hindusthan Art & Music Society hosts its 32nd annual concert—Bharat Sanskriti Yatra.
Held at the Godavari Auditorium, Andhra Association, Lodhi Road Institutional Area, New Delhi, supported by the Ministry of Culture under the National Presence Scheme, this three-day event invites audiences into a world of soul-stirring performances by the legends of Indian classical music.
August 8
The day unfolds with Padma Bhushan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt gracing the stage alongside Pandit Salil Bhatt. Their string magic, Mohan Veena and Satwik Veena Jugalbandi, follows with the tone for an evening enriched by Pandit Ritesh Rajnish Mishra (vocal) with Vidushi Kavita Dwivedi & Group, by an elegant Odissi presentation.
Pandit Ram Kumar Mishra (Tabla), Rohen Bose, RahulMishra and Sumit Mishra (Harmonium) will also perform in the event.
August 9
August 9 night crescendos with Pandit Alindo Chatterjee (Tabla Solo) and will also immerse listeners in the vocal and instrumental hues of renowned musician Vidushi Nabanita Chowdhary.
Renowned artists Pandit Santosh Nahar, Pandit Mormukut Kedia & Pandit Mormukut Kedia (Trio) bring nuanced harmony, leading into another captivating performance.
Ustad Akram Khan, Zargham Khan, Rohen Bose & Sumit Mishra (Harmonium) —unfolding layers of classical depth.
August 10
August 10 – concludes the festival with a memorable sequence:
Padma Shri Ronu Majumdar & Pandit Mysore Manjunath (Flute & Violin Duet) in spiritual sync, followed by Vidushi Saniya Patankar (vocal) and Vidushi Samira Koser (Kathak).
Ustad Akram Khan (Tabla), Pandit Mithilesh Jha, Mahamood Khan, Sumit Mishra, Guru Brij Mohan Gangani (Padant), Ramesh Parihar (vocal) Salim Kumar (sitar) & Mahavir Gangani (Pakhawaj) —marking the end of a journey through ragas, rhythm and heritage.
