Stroke by Stroke: Celebrating Bengal’s Artistic Spirit
Pracheen Kala Kendra presents ‘Stroke by Stroke’, an inspiring painting exhibition that brings together Bengal’s vibrant artistic voices.
The exhibition will be held at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, showcasing artworks that reflect over seventy years of the Kendra’s dedication to promoting cultural excellence. Each artwork in the Central and South Gallery promises a glimpse into the soul of Bengal—one stroke at a time.
An Artistic Gathering of Eminence
The ‘Stroke by Stroke’ exhibition will be inaugurated on 11th July 2025 at 4:30 PM, in the gracious presence of leading artists and cultural figures, including eminent Art Critic Mrinal Ghosh, renowned artist Shri Subrata Gangopadhyaya, Shri Chatrapati Dutta (Principal, Govt. Art College), Shri Anindya Pandit (Head of Dept., Fine Arts, Rabindra Bharati University), eminent artist Bhabatosh Sutar and eminent actor Chandan Sen.
Showcasing 98 outstanding works by young talents from across Bengal, this visual celebration at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, welcomes all from 12 noon to 8 PM daily—with free entry for everyone.
