Odissi Natya Sala presents the 6th edition of NRITYA MILAN, a festival celebrating the rich tapestry of dance forms at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 21 December 2023, from 7.00 PM onwards.

NRITYA MILAN – originating from Odissi Natya Sala’s commitment to providing a platform for emerging talent, NRITYA MILAN has become a landmark festival where young dancers from across India showcase their artistry, talent and creativity.

The event promises an enthralling experience featuring renowned artists and dance groups.

NRITYA MILAN brings together a captivating blend of dance forms, including Odissi by Odissi Natya Sala, Kathak by Vidha Lal & Group, an amalgamation of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali  and  Mohiniyatam by Vishnupriya Natyalaya  and a fusion of Chhau & Kathak by Shreeswati.

ODISSI NATYA SALA founded by Smt Anita Babu in 1999, stands as a leading Odissi dance school in Delhi. The school has played a pivotal role in nurturing talent and preserving the Guru-Shishya parampara.

“With its inaugural edition, ‘PURUSHA SUKTAM’ in 2010, the NRITYA MILAN has evolved featuring themes such as classical dance on social issues and group choreographies, highlighting the Guru-Sishya traditions. The festival boasts performances by renowned artists and groups including premier institutions Odissi Natya Sala, Vidha Lal & Group, Vishnupriya Natyalaya and Shreeswati.

MILAN continues to weave the magic of dance, uniting traditions and showcasing the vibrant talent of the Indian performing arts scene,” says the organisers of the Programme.
