TIMELESS MOMENTS: CELEBRATING ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE AT THE 2ND ANNUAL FELICITATION CEREMONY
The Vijay Ram Foundation is thrilled to announce its 2nd Annual Felicitation Ceremony and Art Exhibition, “Timeless Moments,” set to take place on December 1, 2024, at the Chestnut Hues Arts Studio in Gurgaon. This event aims to celebrate and recognize both emerging and established artists for their remarkable contributions to the field of art.
THE EVENT WILL BE GRACED BY TRIPAT KALRA, DIRECTOR OF GALLERIE NVYA, AS THE CHIEF GUEST, AND KOMAL ANAND, DIRECTOR OF URASWATI MUSEUM, AS THE GUEST OF HONOUR.
Founded in 2023 by renowned artist Sangeeta Singh, the Vijay Ram Foundation, a non-profit organization, in memory of her late parents, Lt. Col. RPS Raghuvanshi and Vijay Raghuvanshi, provides a platform for artists to showcase their works and to nurture artistic talents in India.
2ND VIJAY RAM RATAN AWARD 2024
This year, the 2nd Vijay Ram Ratan Award 2024 will honour the emerging artists aged 20–35 years. The winners are Abhilasha Singh from Lucknow, Ambrish Mishra from Prayagraj and Mona Kapoor from Noida with cash prizes of ₹50,000, ₹30,000 and ₹20,000 respectively.
1ST INDER MAKKAR AWARD 2024
The 1st Inder Makkar Award 2024, in partnership with Renuka Sondhi Gulati, supports mid-career artists aged 35–60 years, with a cash prize of ₹30,000, awarded to Sanghpal Uttam from New Delhi.
“The foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Renuka Sondhi Gulati for her generous sponsorship and unwavering commitment to nurturing artistic talent, which aligns closely with the foundation’s mission,” says the organizers of the event.
EMINENT JURY PANEL
The eminent jury panel, including renowned artists Asit Patnaik, Sanjay Roy and Komal Anand, meticulously evaluated each submission received from all over India.
THE EXHIBITION “TIMELESS MOMENTS”
The exhibition “Timeless Moments” will showcase the paintings of the nominees for the 2nd Vijay Ram Ratna Award 2024, featuring artists Ahilasha Singh, Ambrish Mishra, Dahrmendra Sahani, Jyoti Singh, Lalit Kumar, Mona Kapoor, Pratima, Sachin Sharma, Shubham Mane, and Uday Pratap. Additionally, the nominees for the 1st Inder Makkar Award 2024, Anil Bodwal, Ritu Agarwal, and Sanghpal Uttam, will also be highlighted.
