Prabaho – Celebrating 50 Years of Artistic Legacy in Kolkata 

Marking a golden milestone in the journey of creativity, Prabaho – The Flow celebrates the 20th All India Annual Exhibition of Paintings, Sculptures and Graphic Prints, hosted by the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad. 

Held from June 27th to July 3rd, 2025, at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, this vibrant showcase brings together artistic talents from across the country. 

This year’s edition also honors the memory of the late Sri Kajal Sengupta, beloved Secretary of the Parishad, with a tribute portrait by renowned artist Subrata Gangopadhyay. Open daily from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the exhibition invites art lovers to experience a flowing dialogue of imagination, tradition and creative expression in one of India’s most iconic cultural venues.

A Glowing Start to “Prabaho” – Honouring 20 Years of National Creativity 

The 20th All India Annual Exhibition of Painting and Graphic Prints, titled Prabaho, opened with a radiant lamp-lighting ceremony inside the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata.

Eminent artists graced the occasion, joined by participants and art lovers who witnessed this luminous moment—praised by all for its grace and symbolic beauty.

The exhibition unfolded as a vibrant celebration of artistic brilliance, showcasing an impressive collection of works by renowned masters including Kajal Sengupta, Indranil Ghosh,  Joydeep Bhattacharjee, Indrajit Narayan, Raju Rabidas, Raju Ghosh, Susanta Sarkar, Ashima Mondal, Md. Eshan-ur-Roshid, Kanchan Mistry, Ali Raja, Benoy Dului and others.

A sweeping array of 113 exquisite paintings captivated viewers with their depth and diversity, while 7 striking graphic designs brought bold creativity and modern flair to the display. Adding a powerful, tangible dimension to the experience were 8 remarkable sculptures, each echoing the artist’s vision in form and texture. Together, these works wove a compelling narrative of expression, innovation and timeless beauty.

Hosted across the Central and South Gallery, the exhibition showcases artworks, reflecting the diverse voices of creativity from across India. 

Over the years, “Prabaho” has extended its reach to Indian embassies and private galleries in London, Dubai, Thailand and Kathmandu, continuing its legacy of artistic excellence and global connection.

Since 1976, the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad has stood as a pillar of artistic education, nurturing and promoting the rich traditions of performing and fine arts across India and beyond.
